\"\"<\/a>We really had a great weekend.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 It wasn’t anything different than our traditional Easter weekend, and yet it was.<\/p>\n

Saturday we got together with all of my husband’s family to dye eggs and just have fun.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 This year we also had some friends join us, increasing the child count from 7 to 11.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Thankfully for the adults’ sanity, it was a gorgeous sunny day, so the kids were able to dye the eggs and play outside.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Boy did they play!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

When the egg dyeing started, I was inside with E4, so K grabbed my camera to make sure we at least got some pictures.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 He always gets some great pictures, I get jealous \ud83d\ude42 and then don’t let him use my camera for a while.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 (The picture at the beginning of the post is mine, but it’s one of only a few decent ones.)\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 It is amazing to me how fast 6 dozen eggs can be dyed.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>As the kids were working on the eggs, a hot air balloon appeared over the trees in the northeast.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 It got closer and closer and landed in a\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0nearby field.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 The kids\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0(okay adults, too) were really excited watching it.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0K’s photo, again.<\/p>\n

Sunday afternoon we all headed back out to K’s parent’s house, as we\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0traditionally eat Easter dinner together, and\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0K’s mom puts together Easter baskets for all the grandkids and organizes Easter eggs hunts. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

One for E4 by herself, since she has to\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0eat gluten free right now- and apparently, prefers the plastic\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0eggs to the candy. (This photo is mine \ud83d\ude42 .)\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0One hunt\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0for the younger kids, and one more\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0for the older kids.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 It was raining this year, so the hunts took place in the living room.<\/p>\n
