My parents are on their way for a visit, yay! As I was working to try and get the clutter corralled, because, you know, my mom is coming, I found several sets of keys that weren’t where they were supposed to be. I was starting to get somewhat frustrated with things out everywhere, when I decided […]

This is one of E4’s favorite toys right now. It’s a little big and heavy for her to really do much with it, but she’ll watch it intently and jabber at it when she’s on the floor. It’s also a great toy for the older ones to use to play with her, and they do. E2 especially […]

E4 was sitting up against the back of the recliner as that was about the easiest way for her to breathe, but by the time I got the camera and got her siblings to get out of the way she’d scrunched down against the arm. That was okay, she was still up for a pic or two.

I had absolutely no inspiration today, zero, zilch. I haven’t slept well all week, as E3 started the week with a cold, and E4 followed a couple of days later. It’s starting to really catch up with me, and I have entered the “do what you need to survive” mode. I think we’re on the […]

It was work with Dad night, (I talked about that in this post if you missed it) and it was a gorgeous clear night. Next time I’ll have to take my tripod, so I’m not dependent on finding a flat spot to set the camera in the direction I want to photograph. Instead of a […]

This is the pet tornado E1 got in her Christmas stocking. When I saw it in one of my favorite homeschool catalogs, Rainbow Resource, I thought it was a cute idea. It is kind of cool to hold a tornado in the palm of your hand.

We really like games around our house, in case you haven’t noticed. 🙂 Last night K taught the older 2 kids the game of Risk. It is his favorite game, and not mine so much, so he’s excited they are old enough to really play and understand the intricacies of the game.

The weather here has just been beautiful, which results in some spectacular skies. I really liked that this shot captured the feeling I had while looking at the awesome sunset. We had a quiet day- this time it’s E3 fighting off a cold, and unfortunately with the gag reflex my family is blessed with, that […]

Well, this was the first day I really wasn’t inspired all day to photograph anything. So maybe since I did find something, and was actually excited by the idea of it, means that I’ll be able to pull off 365? I guess we’ll see. My mom’s art medium of choice is fabric. One of the gifts […]

We all got together at K’s parents’ house, and I guess you could say we continued with our own Winter-een-mas celebration. The kids brought different games out and played all afternoon. E2 has liked (too tame of a word, really) numbers, patterns and anything similar since before he could talk. As a young baby, he loved clocks. […]
