We had such a fun day. We went over to my brother- and sister-in-law’s for a playdate since their kids had spring break. They got to play outside some since it turned out to be a pretty nice day, and catching any of them for a picture was close to impossible. As E2 ran […]

E3 and her cousins helped my father-in-law roll the cookies in powdered sugar. They had so much fun, and they spent the rest of the afternoon on a sugar high from licking their fingers completely clean after every one.

March 23 Photo- Our Museum of Modern Art

My kids love the refrigerator. All of them (well, the mobile ones 🙂 ) love to stand and rearrange the magnets, spell nonsense words, make designs, and draw pictures to put up. I know that is rather typical of many kids, but it still fascinates me how long they will play there and that […]

Since I’m using the pictures-a-day challenge to chronicle parts of our life this year, it seems strange I don’t have a picture of newspapers yet since they are a big part of it.Â

Since I don’t have anything new on the needles to show (or any time to knit), I’ll show E1’s new project. K bought me the Knitting Pattern-a-Day Calender.  One of the patterns each month is a themed block, then at the end of the year it has directions for putting the blocks together into an afghan. E1 has […]

I read something online about searching for backdrops outside, so I took E1 out for a casual “model” photo shoot. It was fairly breezy, and a lot of fun!

March 14 Photo- E2’s Space

E2 is really enjoying his new loft bed, particularly the space underneath. He often tucks blankets all around the outside for a “clubhouse.” He also uses the desk every day- it’s great for Legos! We celebrated Pi Day with pizza for lunch, and had fun figuring out it’s circumference and the circumference of all the […]

March 13 Photo- The Dollhouse
2 March 22, 2007 at 9:12am by Granolageekmom
K’s dad made this dollhouse for E3 for her birthday last year. She loves it- it stays in the living room for the most part, and she plays with it almost every day. I love to watch my kids play. Their creativity often amazes me; they most often play with something different than the designers of the […]
