  An afternoon thunderstorm went through as we came back from town and left a beautiful double rainbow.  It always amazes me how much bigger the sky seems here.

  My mom is sewing a wedding dress for a cousin of mine, who came by to try it on.  She brought the shoes she’s going to wear, ruby slippers!

  (This day’s picture was hard to choose- I took so many pictures there were a few I actually liked.)  E3 and my nephew X played out on the patio for quite a while, especially in my mom’s fountain.  I grabbed the camera and got a couple of shots before X noticed, and then I got this great grin.  X really likes having his picture taken- and the camera really loves him!

  Grandmas are so much fun!

While I was working on this picture, I was thinking I had another with E4 and Grammy (as E3 calls her).  So I looked back in my archives and sure enough- this picture is when E4 was almost 5 months old.  It’s amazing to see the changes in 6 months for E4, and Grammy looks exactly the same! 🙂

  E3 at a rest stop somewhere in Montana.  How is she so happy after almost 2 days in a van?  That’s just E3!

I was so excited to get the sunshine glow in the picture! 

  Well, in getting ready for the trip I missed a few days of pictures.  But we got everything done and my mom got here on the train. So we started out- we got out of town early enough and made good enough time to make it to Wallace, ID, about an hour farther than usual.  The kids settled down fairly well, except for E4- she just wanted to MOVE after being held in the seat all day.

  E3 has grown out of her car seat, so I had K stop at the store to get her a new one.  Since they had pink, the decision was easy.

  We decided at the last minute for the kids and me to go to Wyoming!  So we’re running around trying to get everything ready.  Grocery bags make great organizers.
